NRC partners Galaxy Backbone to strengthen technology services in Nigeria’s rail system

The Nigerian Railway Corporation(NRC) has gone into a strategic partnership with Galaxy Backbone Limited to boost technology services in the Nigeria’s rail system.
Receiving the Galaxy team in his office led by Olusegun Olulade, Executive Director of Customer Centricity & Marketing , Opeifa highlighted the importance of strengthening internal security and enhancing internet connectivity across Nigeria’s railway network.
He revealed that the collaboration between the two organizations is aimed at transforming Nigeria’s railway network, making it more efficient, secure, connected.
“With Galaxy Backbone expertise and NRC’s commitment to modernization, this partnership is poised to drive significant growth and development in Nigeria’s transportation sector” Opeifa stated.
During the visit, Hon. Olulade reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to revitalizing and modernizing the NRC for a more efficient and effective nationwide transportation system.
He also stressed the need to enhance internal security and boost internet connectivity across Nigeria’s railway network.
In related developments, Dr. Kayode Opeifa emphasized the importance of increasing the NRC’s contribution to Nigeria’s GDP by aligning its operations with international standards.
He added that the corporation’s management team plans to partner with Galaxy Backbone Limited on staff training and capacity-building initiatives to drive efficiency and foster innovation.
