Eyewitness reporter
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has listed the number of properties and cash in foreign and local currencies seized from Abdulrasheed Maina, the former Chairman of the now-defunct Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) who was sentenced to eight years imprisonment by an Abuja High Court on Monday.
Maina had earlier pleaded not guilty to a 12-count charge of money laundering but Justice Okon Abang found the accused guilty.
Having established his sentencing, the court ordered Maina and his firm – Common Input Property and Investment Limited to restitute about N2.1billion that was traced to their bank accounts, to the Federal Government.
The company would be dissolved thereafter.
