Group hails Tinubu’s victory at APC presidential primary election

Eyewitness reporter
The Jagaban political group has expressed its immense joy over the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election.
The group, in its congratulatory message signed by Bukky Olajide, described the landslide victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as a testimony of the total acceptability of the former Lagos State governor by the people of Nigeria in his strive to succeed president Muhammad Buhari during the 2023 General election.
“His emergence as the flag bearer of the ruling party is a good omen for the nation as the former governor of Lagos state will use his vast experience as an erudite administrator to address a myriad of challenges, including insecurity, unstable foreign exchange policy, epileptic power supply, infrastructural decay, among others, currently facing the nation”
The group, therefore, assured Tinubu of its unalloyed support and readiness to work towards the success of the APC flag bearer in the 2023 presidential polls.
The Jagaban political group is made up of members who cut across the country, including practicing journalists, erudite scholars, prolific politicians, public commentators, and other public members.

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh, has disclosed that the Agency is set to reopen the Lokoja office, as part of efforts towards harnessing the Blue Economy, enhancing collaboration, while also promoting Research and Development.
The DG, who made this known when he played host to the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA), Mal. Usman Hayatu Mazadu at the head office of the Agency in Lagos, noted that investment in research would play a major role in ensuring the harnessing of Nigeria’s maritime potentials.
