Dantsoho, NPA MD, approves new appointments at Apapa, Tin Can, Onne Ports for enhanced service delivery
According to a memo dated August 14, 2024, signed by the NPA Managing Director, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, the new port managers will assume duties on Monday, August 19, 2024.
The newly appointed port managers are,: Mr. Adebowale Lawal Ibrahim as Port Manager of Apapa Port Complex; Mr. Abubakar Sanni Isa as Port Manager of Tin Can Island Port; Mr. Abdulraman Husaini as Port Manager of Onne Port in Rivers State and Mr. Sa’adu Dahiru Mohammed as Port Manager of Delta Port.
Others are Mr. Emmanuel Anda as Port Manager of Lekki Port; Mrs. Kenechi Edith Okezie retained her position as Port Manager at Rivers Port in Port Harcourt, while Mr. Ekine Ibafiri Alex is the new Port Manager of Calabar Port.
The restructuring exercise, which takes immediate effect, is meant to boost productivity and improve service delivery.
